Duties
- Safely operate passenger vehicles such as vans, shuttle buses, and limousines on local routes, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
- Assist clients with boarding and disembarking, providing courteous and respectful customer service at all times.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems to reach destinations promptly while managing route adjustments as needed.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are maintained; report any issues immediately.
- Handle heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility devices or luggage, ensuring proper manual handling techniques are followed.
- Communicate effectively with clients, dispatchers, and healthcare facilities to coordinate pick-up and drop-off schedules smoothly.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and client interactions in compliance with state transportation regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for operating passenger vehicles.
- No experience needed , will train employees.
- Knowledge of GPS navigation tools and ability to adapt routes efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on client service and safety protocols.
- Ability to perform mild lifting safely and handle manual tasks related to passenger assistance.
- Adherence to all traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and safety standards governing commercial driving.
