**Summary**
The Dispatcher is responsible for providing the Radiology Tech in the field with information on patient exams. The Dispatcher will assist and provide direction to the field radiologic technologists so that studies are completed in a timely manner. The employee must maintain a professional demeanor at all times considering the sensitivity of the work.

Ability to write well-constructed emails using proper English grammar and punctuation.

**Computer Skills**

- Assign Technologists to the proper general area and facilities as noted on the schedule.
- Message Technologist for "STAT", and other orders as required.
- Communicate and report problems to Supervisor and Field Supervisor
- Data Entry for new orders
- Focus on assigned dispatch area, but must be aware of activity in other areas.
