Duties
- Greet customers warmly in both English and your second language, creating a welcoming shopping experience
- Assist customers by providing detailed product demonstrations and explaining features clearly
- Conduct upselling by recommending additional products or services that meet customer needs
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments efficiently
- Maintain well-stocked shelves through merchandising, stocking, and organizing products to maximize sales potential
- Ensure the retail space is clean, organized, and visually appealing to enhance customer engagement
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries professionally via phone or in person with proper phone etiquette
- Support inventory management activities such as stock checks, inventory counts, and replenishment tasks
- Assist with cashiering duties including processing returns, exchanges, and handling cash or card payments securely
- Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members at all times
- Support the team with basic retail math calculations for pricing, discounts, and sales transactions
Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in English and another language (e.g., Spanish, French) is required to serve our diverse clientele effectively
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic retail math concepts is advantageous
