The team offers the architectural, engineering and construction (A/E/C) industry with a full suite of capabilities both in the lab and on site.JOB SUMMARYThe Field Technician role performs a variety of testing, project specific observations and site assessment duties under direct supervision and/or from detailed controlled procedures. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIESPerforms a variety of testing, project specific observations and site assessment duties under direct supervision and/or from detailed controlled procedures.Operates testing equipment and conducts testing, (example: Soil, concrete or other) and provides assessment of data through reportingWorks utilizing drawings, specifications, and diagramsUses specific methods to observe site activities and perform tasksMake detailed observations and gives limited interpretation of resultsMaintains detailed documentation and data from test resultsOperates a calculator to calculate mathematical test resultsCommunicates effectively with client and project teamsMust be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at workESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONSNo Experience Required - Will TrainMust have Basic Math, Calculator and Computer SkillsAbility to communicate and interact effectively in verbal & written communicationAbility to read and understand work plansAbility and willingness to work off shifts and overtimeValid Driver's License and reliable driving record (required)Basic knowledge of excel and mobile excel on your phone PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to lift, move, push, and pull 10 to 20 pounds frequently.
