About Us
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Window Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, repairing, replacing, and sealing commercial and residential glass systems. This position requires strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Install, replace, and repair windows, glass doors, storefront systems, and other glazing products.
- Measure, cut, fit, and secure glass and related materials.
- Remove damaged glass and prepare surfaces for installation.
- Apply sealants, gaskets, and weatherproofing materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
- Operate glazing tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and local building codes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of glazing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial and residential glazing systems.
- Ability to read tape measures and construction drawings accurately.
- Experience with storefront, curtain wall, insulated glass (IGs), and door hardware is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds and work at heights when required.
- OSHA certification is a plus.
