Your Role as a Mobile Medical Nurse Practitioner
This is a provider-based position delivering in-home primary care services. You will independently manage your patient visits while enjoying flexibility in how your day is structured—without the constraints of office-based scheduling or fixed clinic hours. You’ll care for patients where they are most comfortable, allowing for deeper connection, better assessments, and more impactful care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive in-home medical evaluations and ongoing primary care
- Assess patients, review medical histories, and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)
- Diagnose conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and educate patients and families on disease management and prevention
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity and quality of care
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an Adult, Family, or Geriatric Nurse Practitioner program
- Current National Board Certification
- Active Florida APRN license
- Professional liability insurance
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Prior experience as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care, acute care, or similar clinical settings
- Strong clinical judgment and comfort practicing independently
- Knowledge of evidence-based care and healthcare regulations
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
