Mobile Medical Corporation is seeking a dedicated, experienced Occupational Health Paramedic to support a large-scale construction project in Gainesville, Virginia. Position Summary
The Occupational Health Paramedic will provide on-site medical support, injury assessment, treatment, and emergency response services for project employees. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced occupational health setting.
The client may utilize Advanced Life Support (ALS) services, making emergency response experience highly desirable.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- Some Saturdays required
- Overtime opportunities available
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide first aid and occupational health services to employees on-site
- Assess and treat work-related injuries and illnesses within scope of practice
- Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate higher levels of care when necessary
- Support emergency preparedness and response initiatives
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and incident records
- Conduct health screenings and wellness-related services as needed
- Collaborate with site management, safety personnel, and healthcare team members
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies
- Manage medical supplies and maintain readiness of medical equipment
Qualifications
- Current National Registry Paramedic certification
- Current Virginia Paramedic license or ability to obtain
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Occupational health, emergency medicine, industrial, construction, or urgent care experience preferred
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift equipment as required
- Ability to respond quickly to medical emergencies in an active construction environment
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
