Millwork Driver Assistant Helper
Job Location: Mobile Lumber Millwork Plant, Bay Minette, Alabama 36507
Mobile Lumber is seeking to hire a Driver Assistant to help with local deliveries of millwork and building materials in Baldwin County, Mobile County and the NW Florida panhandle.
Requirements:
- THIS POSITION REQUIRES PHYSICAL STRENGTH AND STAMINA.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 65 lbs on your own
- Must be able to lift/carry heavier weights with assistance
- Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, climb and kneel repeatedly
- Great attitude and ability to work well with others
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
Responsibilities:
- Assist with loading and unloading local deliveries at jobsites
- Walk path of vehicle at jobsites to determine best path for vehicle
- Direct driver onto and off of jobsites while spotting potential hazards
- Operate truck lift gates, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Ensure cleanliness of jobsite prior to leaving
- Assist at warehouse as needed
- Represent Mobile Lumber in a professional, friendly and helpful manner
- Provide customers with a WOW customer service experience
This is a full time position in an uncontrolled temperature environment up to 6 days per week.
