Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain sophisticated medical imaging equipment, including ultrasound machines for obstetric, gynecological, abdominal, vascular, and cardiac assessments.
• Perform detailed ultrasound examinations such as prenatal ultrasounds, gynecological ultrasounds, breast ultrasounds, and vascular imaging with precision and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with physicians to interpret imaging results and ensure accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
• Apply specialized techniques in maternal-fetal medicine, women's health diagnostics, and echocardiography to support comprehensive patient evaluations.
• Maintain strict aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure patient safety and infection control standards.
• Educate patients about procedures, answer questions clearly, and provide compassionate care throughout the imaging process.
• Utilize Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) for storing, retrieving, and sharing diagnostic images efficiently.
• Keep up-to-date with advancements in medical imaging technology and participate in ongoing training to enhance skills in vascular ultrasound diagnostics, gynecological ultrasound, and other specialties.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a sonographer with proficiency in diverse ultrasound modalities including obstetric, gynecological, breast, abdominal, vascular, and echocardiography imaging.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to women's health and reproductive care.
• Demonstrated ability to operate medical imaging equipment safely and effectively while adhering to aseptic techniques.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient data and imaging results.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
• Certification or licensure as a registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent credential preferred.
• Ability to interpret complex images accurately and collaborate closely with physicians for diagnosis assistance.
• Knowledge of PACS systems for image management is highly desirable.

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
