Position Summary
Mobile Health is seeking a Manager, Strategic Network Development to play a pivotal role in scaling the organization’s nationwide provider network. This role is designed for an experienced business development and operations minded professional who brings strategic vision, executive-level relationship management, and strong initiative to provider network growth.
The Manager, Strategic Network Development will lead the end-to-end strategy for identifying, recruiting, contracting, and integrating medical providers who can deliver occupational health services across the United States. Beyond execution, this role will drive network strategy, establish scalable growth processes, influence cross-functional priorities, and serve as a representative of Mobile Health to external partners.
Working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams—including Sales, Account Management, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Inventory and Logistics—this individual will help shape the infrastructure and partnerships that support Mobile Health’s long-term national expansion. The position combines high-level business development, complex negotiations, operational design, and leadership within a collaborative, fast-growth environment. This role has potential to manage direct reports in the future.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
National Provider Network Strategy
Develop and execute a comprehensive national provider network expansion strategy aligned with Mobile Health’s growth objectives.
Identify priority markets, service gaps, and expansion opportunities based on operational needs, utilization trends, and financial targets.
Serve as a subject-matter expert on provider network development, advising leadership on strategic decisions.
Provider Recruitment & Business Development
Lead the identification, evaluation, and recruitment of high-quality medical providers and facilities nationwide.
Establish and manage senior-level relationships with provider executives, administrators, and decision-makers.
Represent Mobile Health as a trusted strategic partner, articulating value propositions and long-term collaboration opportunities.
Contract Negotiation & Financial Stewardship
Lead complex contract negotiations, securing competitive, sustainable pricing and favorable terms.
Balance cost containment with provider satisfaction and service quality.
Partner with the Finance team to structure agreements that support scalability, profitability, and compliance.
Onboarding, Integration & Cross-Functional Leadership
Oversee provider onboarding and integration into Mobile Health’s systems and workflows.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation.
Establish best practices, standardized workflows, and documentation for network expansion activities.
Operational Process & Infrastructure Development
Design and implement scalable systems, policies, and procedures for provider network management.
Identify operational inefficiencies and lead initiatives to improve speed, quality, and consistency of network growth.
Data, Reporting & Executive Communication
Define and monitor KPIs related to provider recruitment, performance, utilization, and cost efficiency.
Deliver clear, data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership.
Prepare executive-level reporting on network health, expansion progress, and strategic risks/opportunities.
Daily & Ongoing Activities
Lead high-level outreach and negotiations with prospective provider partners.
Conduct strategic planning sessions with internal stakeholders.
Guide onboarding efforts and ensure alignment across departments.
Refine recruitment priorities and expansion frameworks based on evolving business needs.

- Ten (10) years of experience in provider network development, healthcare partnerships, business development, or strategic sales.
- Healthcare industry experience required.
- Demonstrated success negotiating complex, high-value contracts with healthcare providers or facilities.
- Working knowledge of credentialing, licensing and compliance requirements across U.S. markets
- Strong executive presence with the ability to build trust and influence senior-level stakeholders.
- Proven ability to design and scale operational processes in a growing organization.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite; strong familiarity with EMR systems, CRM tools, and data reporting.
- Urgent Care or Occupational Health Care experience preferred.
- Ability to operate a keyboard and perform repetitive motion (keyboard), writing
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods; reach, bend, lift up to ten (10) lbs.
- Ability to express or exchange ideas, to impart information to the public and to convey detailed instructions to staff accurately and quickly.
