Job Title: Credentialing Specialist
Position Summary:
Responsible for managing and maintaining credentialing processes for physicians and allied health professionals, ensuring compliance with regulatory, legal, and organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process initial and reappointment credentialing applications (125–200 quarterly)
- Maintain and update provider data in Echo, including education, licensure, and training
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility-specific credentialing regulations
- Prepare reports and materials for Credentials Committee, MEC, and Board meetings
- Track license/certification expirations and collect verification data
- Schedule and document medical staff meetings; manage provider dues
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all provider records
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of credentialing processes and regulations
- Excellent organizational, research, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Proficiency in Echo database and general computer applications
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST (37.5 hours/week)
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.50 per week
