Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, steering, and electrical components.
- Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacements, and other routine maintenance tasks to ensure vehicle longevity.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to disassemble and reassemble vehicle parts with precision.
- Diagnose complex problems related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), diesel engines, and powertrain components.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics to ensure repairs meet quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and advising on future maintenance needs.
Requirements
- Proven mechanic experience with dealership or automotive repair shop background preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including diesel engines, transmissions, and automotive electrical systems.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for accurate troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with auto body repair, welding, wheel alignment, suspension work, and tire service.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive maintenance tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ASE certification is advantageous but not required.
