Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Lead Cashier/Supervisor Full Time to join our team. This pivotal role combines leadership, customer service excellence, and operational management to ensure smooth store operations. As a key team member, you will oversee daily cashier functions, supervise staff, and uphold high standards of service and efficiency.

Duties

• Supervise cashier operations, ensuring accurate cash handling, POS system usage, and customer transactions.
• Lead and motivate the retail sales team to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize store presentation.
• Train new employees on POS systems, customer service protocols, and store policies.
• Oversee shift management, including scheduling, task delegation, and operational oversight.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and maintain a welcoming store environment.
• Assist with purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and budgeting to maximize profitability.

Skills

• Proven experience in supervising retail teams with strong leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, and basic bookkeeping.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound knowledge of retail math for sales management, pricing, and cash handling accuracy.
• Skilled in employee orientation, training & development, interviewing, and recruiting processes.
• Demonstrated ability in operational management including merchandising, stock control, and budgeting.
• Exceptional customer service skills coupled with phone etiquette and managerial communication expertise.
• Experience in retail industry sales team management and supervising retail sales operations.
