About The Role
The Clinical Research Scientist plays a critical role within the Clinical team, supporting the design, execution, and analysis of clinical studies that drive product innovation and adoption. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Marketing, Reimbursement, and Commercial to generate high-quality clinical evidence that informs product development, supports regulatory and reimbursement strategies, and advances patient outcomes.

About The Role
The Clinical Research Scientist plays a critical role within the Clinical team, supporting the design, execution, and analysis of clinical studies that drive product innovation and adoption. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Marketing, Reimbursement, and Commercial to generate high-quality clinical evidence that informs product development, supports regulatory and reimbursement strategies, and advances patient outcomes.
What You'll Do
Support clinical study design and execution
- Contribute to the development of clinical study protocols and research strategies
- Partner with internal teams and external consultants to ensure high-quality data collection and study execution
- Ensure clinical studies are aligned with scientific, regulatory, and business objectives
- Perform first-pass analysis and interpretation of clinical study data
- Ensure clinical data is accurate, meaningful, and supports product and clinical strategy
- Translate clinical findings into insights that inform product development and innovation
- Work closely with Engineering, Marketing, Reimbursement, and leadership to support product approval, labeling, and patient access strategies
- Support expansion into new indications and markets through evidence generation
- Partner with R&D and Product teams to scope, develop, and evaluate new innovations
- Design and support research studies for publication in peer-reviewed journals
- Ensure clinical messaging and materials are scientifically accurate and impactful
- Support product training for customers, field sales, and new hires
- Provide technical support during commercial implants and customer interactions
- Assist with complaint investigations as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field required
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical research experience in the medical device industry, or a PhD
- Strong understanding of clinical study design, data analysis, and interpretation
- Advanced degree (PhD preferred)
- Background in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or related clinical field
- Experience supporting clinical research for medical devices
- A collaborative team player who works effectively across functions
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data quality and scientific accuracy
- Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- A strong communicator who can translate complex data into meaningful insights
- Proactive and innovative in solving problems and advancing clinical strategy
