Adult Health I clinical instructor position is available for the spring 2026 semester in the Associate Degree Nursing Program.
This position is responsible for supervising the nursing students in the clinical environment. This position is also responsible for evaluating the clinical performance of the student and grading all clinical assignments. This is a part-time, hourly position covered by Social Security.

- B.S.N. required;
- Current license to practice professional nursing with an undisciplined license in the State of Missouri;
- A minimum of two (2) years recent clinical experience;
- Current certification in CPRThe Part-time Instructor in the Associate Degree Nursing Program shall:
- Provide students clinical instruction in (their) designated clinical specialty;
- Orient to the assigned clinical facility and to Moberly Area Community College;
- Attend an orientation session on the curriculum, etc. of the Associate Degree Nursing Program;
- Keep current evidence of licensure and education on file with the College and Health Sciences Department;
- Maintain current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR);
- Maintain clinically current in their designated clinical specialty. Certification is desirable but not mandatory;
- Attend Associate Degree Nursing Faculty meetings as required by the Director;
- Submit a semi-monthly time sheet on payroll dates to the Department of Health Sciences;
- Keep adequate records of grades, attendance, clinical performance, and anecdotal notes, and submit as necessary to the Dean or Director of Health Sciences (Grades to the Registrar);
- Perform duties as assigned by the Dean and/or Director of Health Sciences or the President;
- Perform the duties and responsibilities for part-time faculty as listed in the MACC Policy Handbook.
