Duties
- Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, ventilation fans, and refrigeration equipment according to schematics and HVAC design plans.
- Conduct system troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters and diagnostic software to identify issues quickly and accurately.
- Repair mechanical components such as welders, pumps, motors, and plumbing fixtures involved in HVAC systems.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to facilitate precise installation and repairs.
- Use welding techniques when necessary to assemble or repair ductwork or metal components.
- Operate a
driver vehicle safely for transporting equipment or parts to job sites while adhering to all safety regulations. - Conduct property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems to ensure safety standards are met across various facilities.
- Collaborate with team members on large-scale projects involving HVAC design modifications or upgrades.
Qualifications These are not needed but is a plus
- Proven experience in construction or service technician roles related to HVAC installation or maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, plumbing, refrigeration, or boiler systems.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design principles.
- Experience working in field service environments with a focus on appliance repair and property maintenance.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating a
driver vehicle preferred. - Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team under tight deadlines.
