Pay Rate: $17.00/hour

Working Hours:

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1 position)

Requirements: Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends

JOB SUMMARY:

The forklift operator helps to load and unload materials and deliver and move them to and from different areas in the distribution center for properly storing or shipping of items to the client’s desired location.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Pick, pack, check and load parts and items to the designated areas in the facility.
• Stack loads in the correct storage bays, following inventory-control instructions
• Complete forms and handle documentation
• Complete Bill of Lading forms after receiving
• Operate a variety of packing machines, ensuring the production schedule is met in a timely manner
• Support the production department by moving ATMs
• Work as part of the team to load and/or unload materials
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines, helping to maintain a safe and orderly work environment
• Meet quality and performance requirements as outlined by quality assurance and production standards
• Report safety hazards, quality, and production issues to Warehouse Supervisor
• Perform daily safety checks of forklift and ensure safe operation of material handling equipment
• Patrol warehouse and check that all machinery is in good condition including ATM, stocks, and forklift
• Act as a back-up for shipping clerks in able to conduct GI and Will Call process
• Monitor forklift and other equipments’ condition and report to supervisor if there is safety concern

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma
• Swing Reach experiences required
• Able to read, write and speak English
• Ability to operate “Turret Forklift” is highly recommended
• Strong communication skill with team co-worker required
