We are seeking a dedicated pizzamaker to join our team. Duties
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients according to established recipes and standards
- Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure all food items are prepared in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with menu planning and suggest new pizza varieties or toppings to enhance offerings
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning workstations, and sanitizing utensils
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order completion and excellent customer service
- Adhere to dietary department standards and accommodate special dietary requests when necessary
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations a must
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of food handling safety protocols
- Experience with menu planning, catering, or fine dining is a plus
- Familiarity with the food industry standards for cleanliness, safety, and quality assurance
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures
- Prior restaurant experience or culinary training is advantageous
