This a Temporary WG-8810-10 AIRCRAFT PROPELLER MECHANIC (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2773000 and is part of the MO TASMG Shop.

Qualifications:
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidate must currently be assigned to a military unit in the Missouri Army National Guard. Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion).
Maximum Military Grade - WO1 (W-1) with date of rank after 10 July 2024
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience or training that has provided you with the ability to perform assembly and disassembly operations and make prescribed modifications to aircraft propeller assemblies and their components in accordance with technical specifications, procedures and requirements; and experience using hand and power tools common to the trade.
WG-10 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess specialized experience that provided experience or training performing standard, routine assembly and disassembly operations and making prescribed modifications to aircraft propellers, assemblies, and accessories; ability to perform maintenance overhaul, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of aircraft propellers, components, for rotary wing aircraft; and experience determining maintenance needed from work orders, inspection reports, historical record, and by own diagnosis.
Additional Conditions of Employment:
- May be required to travel by car, in military and/or commercial aircraft, and by other means of transportation as appropriate, to perform temporary duty assignments.
- This is a Testing Designated Position TDP. The employee is subject to random drug testing. Pre-employment drug testing and participation in random drug testing is a condition of employment. Note: The caveat is that the states, territories, and the district cannot drug test until a drug free workplace policy has been established and approved by the United States Department of Health and Human Services.
