General Laborer I – Job Duties & Responsibilities
General Duties
- Assist skilled tradespeople with daily tasks
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment
- Prepare and clean job sites, including debris removal and basic site maintenance
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely (hammers, drills, saws, shovels, etc.)
- Perform basic construction tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, mixing materials, and measuring
- Set up and take down ladders, scaffolding, and temporary structures
- Follow safety procedures and OSHA guidelines at all times
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Follow instructions from supervisors and site managers
- Assist with demolition, cleanup, and final site inspections
- Communicate effectively with team members and report issues or hazards
Physical & Work Requirements (optional add-on)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
Work Environment
- Combination of job-site, warehouse, and office support
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
