Full-Time, ExemptCOMPANY OVERVIEWMy Next Career Path Staffing is a highly successful and established staffing agency with a 12-year history of excellence, specializing in e.g., IT, Admin, and Healthcare. We are launching our first strategic expansion into the highly competitive Texas market, starting in Houston. This role is a foundational leadership position responsible for pioneering our revenue generation and establishing our brand presence in the region.ROLE SUMMARYThe Senior Business Development Manager (BDM) is a critical, hands-on role responsible for driving net new business acquisition and client relationship management within the designated Arlington Metro area. This individual will be the face of the company's Arlington VA launch, focusing on identifying, prospecting, negotiating, and closing contractual staffing agreements (Contract, Contract-to-Hire, and Direct Hire). The BDM is expected to be a self-starter with a deep, existing professional network in the local business community.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Market Penetration and Client AcquisitionDevelop and execute a strategic sales plan to aggressively acquire new clients and secure MSAs (Master Service Agreements) within the Texas market, leveraging the agency's existing specialization.Conduct high-volume prospecting activities, including cold calling, personalized email campaigns, networking events, and targeted LinkedIn outreach to identify hiring decision-makers.Present the agency's value proposition to C-level executives, HR leaders, and Hiring Managers, articulating our competitive advantage and niche expertise.Attend local industry association meetings, trade shows, and networking events to build brand visibility and generate immediate leads.2. Relationship Management and Contract NegotiationManage the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing.Collaborate with clients to understand their specific talent needs, organizational structure, and hiring processes to formulate tailored staffing solutions.Maintain a robust, accurate pipeline in the CRM (e.g., Bullhorn or Salesforce), providing regular forecasts and performance updates to the leadership team.Act as the primary account owner, ensuring high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction in partnership with the remote Recruiting Team.3. Strategic Leadership and Market IntelligenceProvide regular, actionable market feedback to the leadership team regarding local compensation trends, competitive activity, and emerging industry demands in Texas.Work collaboratively with the corporate marketing team to localize marketing materials and campaigns for maximum impact in the Texas region.Establish foundational operational processes for the new market launch.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS5 years of dedicated, successful Business Development experience in the Staffing and Recruiting Industry.Mandatory: 3 years of recent, verifiable experience specifically selling staffing services in a major Arlington metro market Demonstrated history of consistently achieving and exceeding aggressive new client acquisition and revenue targets (e.g., annual billings of $1.5M ).Deep knowledge and a strong existing network within the [Your Niche: e.g., Technology/IT or Healthcare/Clinical] sectors in Texas.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including formal presentation and negotiation abilities.Bachelor’s degree preferred.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSCompetitive Base Salary commensurate with experience in the Arlington market.Aggressive Commission Structure with high accelerators based on net new client acquisition and placement revenue.
