Responsibilities
- Manage the receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming shipments using warehouse management systems and RF scanners
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and verifying orders with precision
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload freight safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry into inventory management software and ERP systems such as Shipstation and Zoey.
- Coordinate with carriers and freight providers to schedule pickups and deliveries while ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards
- Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits to ensure accuracy within warehouse distribution operations
- Support packaging processes for e-commerce and retail store orders, ensuring products are securely prepared for shipment while adhering to quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or logistics roles with familiarity in inventory management software and warehouse management systems
- Ability to operate forklifts (certification preferred), reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for order picking, packing, and data entry tasks
- Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying shipments accurately
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with internal teams and external carriers
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word for reporting purposes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards and quality control
