Hurricane Logistics INC & MN Transport LLC are seeking an experienced Operations & Fleet Manager to oversee FedEx and dump truck operations.

This is NOT an entry-level position. Previous management experience in transportation, logistics, FedEx operations, trucking, or fleet management is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily FedEx and dump truck operations
• Manage drivers, scheduling, hiring/firing, and route coverage
• Fill in for routes when drivers call out if needed
• Handle weekly meetings, emails, and operational communication
• Ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance is maintained and up to standards
• Manage fleet maintenance, inspections, monthly maintenance reports, and repairs
• Perform or assist with basic mechanical work (oil changes, lights, mirrors, minor repairs)
• Run for parts and operational supplies as needed
• Use DAT Load Board to book loads and ensure daily/backup work for dump trucks
• Handle driver needs, dispatching, and day-to-day problem solving

Qualifications

• Prior transportation or fleet management experience REQUIRED
• FedEx operations experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of DOT compliance and trucking operations
• Basic mechanical knowledge required
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• CDL preferred but not required
• Must be dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must pass a drug test
• Clean criminal background required
