MN Spice Softball is seeking passionate and knowledgeable fastpitch softball coaches to join our coaching staff for the upcoming season.
We are currently seeking coaches for multiple age levels, including 14U, 16U, and 18U.
Coaches will work with competitive youth athletes to develop their softball skills while helping create a positive, competitive, and supportive team environment.
Responsibilities may include:
- Leading practices and teaching fundamental and advanced fastpitch softball skills
- Developing position-specific drills and practice plans
- Providing individual instruction and constructive feedback to athletes
- Assisting with game strategy, lineups, and in-game adjustments
- Supporting player development throughout the season
- Communicating professionally and consistently with athletes, families, and other coaches
- Attending scheduled practices, games, tournaments, and team events
- Working collaboratively with the MN Spice coaching staff
- Creating a safe, respectful, inclusive, and positive environment for athletes
- Representing MN Spice Softball with professionalism and sportsmanship
- Previous softball coaching or playing experience preferred
- Strong understanding of fastpitch softball fundamentals, rules, and game strategy
- Ability to teach and communicate effectively with youth athletes
- Positive, encouraging, and development-focused coaching style
- Reliable and able to commit to scheduled practices, games, and tournaments
- Ability to work collaboratively with other coaches
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to athlete safety, sportsmanship, teamwork, and positive player development
