As an Account Manager Trainee, your journey begins with building strong foundations. You'll learn the core functions of business to business sales, from managing accounts to supporting client activations. Our training in sales systems and workflows will equip the Account Manager Trainee to nurture positive business relationships and play a key role in client satisfaction.
Account Manager Trainee Responsibilities
- Rotate across sales, client services, and operations to build hands-on experience with AT&T Business connectivity tools and service workflows.
- Support new client onboarding by verifying documentation, tracking provisioning steps, and aligning with campaign protocols to ensure smooth activation.
- Monitor sales activity to track pipeline progress, service milestones, and client communications for visibility and reporting accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal teams and other Account Manager Trainees to escalate service delays, resolve documentation issues, and maintain timely delivery across business accounts.
- Review client usage patterns and feedback to recommend service upgrades, bundled enhancements, and retention strategies aligned with AT&T Business goals.
- Participate in campaign reviews and Account Manager Trainee meetings to support performance audits, strategy refinement, and continuous sales improvement.
Account Manager Trainee Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; coursework in business, marketing, or communications supports client coordination and service planning.
- Experience in sales, customer support, or account coordination, ideally within people-facing or business environments.
- Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret service data and guide business clients through decision-making.
- Data proficient, maintaining organized records to support campaign forecasting, sales tracking, and service visibility.
- Highly organized and adaptable, able to manage structured workflows and meet Account Manager Trainee goals in a fast-paced business setting.
