What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction and Repair Team Member position at MN Buildings & Equipment?
Minnesota Buildings & Equipment has been serving the Southern Minnesota area since 1974. We specialize in the sales, repair, and construction of swine confinement equipment and facilities along with EPS post frame, solid core and agricultural buildings. This position will be part of a 3-man team primarily addressing hog barn repairs and remodels.
Responsibilities
-Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
-Load and unload materials in the warehouse, utilizing forklifts when necessary.
-Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
-Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and deadlines.
-Keep work areas clean and organized, adhering to company standards.
-Have the willingness to learn and to listen.
-Ability to lift a minimum of 55lbs.
Skills
-Experience working in a hog facility highly preferred, but not required.
-Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for various tasks.
-Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
-Ability to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
-Familiarity with warehouse operations.
-Experience operating forklifts and skid-steers is a plus but not required; training may be provided.
-Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.
-Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
