What You’ll Do
As a Mechanical Engineer at MMT, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation, designing and testing everything from custom machines to robotics. You’ll collaborate with a talented design team, bring your ideas to life using CAD software, and see your work go from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design precision products like machine tools, controls, and robotics
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop sketches, layouts, and models
- Create detailed 3D CAD drawings (Autodesk Inventor required; SolidWorks is a plus)
- Select materials and components for manufacturing
- Build and test prototypes — and iterate based on performance data
- Monitor production and develop control systems for ongoing improvement
- Share your knowledge through cross-training and team collaboration
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in design and engineering
- Strong CAD skills (Autodesk Inventor required)
- Familiarity with GD&T and machine tool design
- Top-notch analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- A curious mind and a passion for designing solutions that work
