Role Description

This is a full-time Paramedic position located in Kansas City, MO. The Paramedic will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency and non-emergency medical care and transportation to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being. Daily responsibilities include responding promptly to calls, assessing patients' conditions, performing critical medical procedures, administering medications, documenting patient care activities, and maintaining emergency equipment and vehicles in a ready state.

Qualifications

• Certified as a National Registered Paramedic (NRP) or possess a current Kansas and Missouri Paramedic license
• Strong skills in emergency medical care, patient assessment, and life-saving procedures
• Proficiency in medical equipment and technology
• Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities in high-pressure situations
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills to collaborate with other healthcare professionals
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and provide compassionate patient care
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record; EVOC or equivalent training is a plus
• Current certifications in CPR, ACLS, and PALS (or ability to obtain)
• Physical ability to meet job requirements, including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing
