Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Electrical and Instrument Tech position located in Shreveport, LA. The role involves performing a variety of tasks including maintaining, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems. The technician will ensure the proper functioning of process control equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards in a variety of industrial settings.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Process Control and Instrumentation systems
- Strong Troubleshooting and Calibration skills
- Experience in performing Preventive Maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and schematics
- Familiarity with safety protocols and industry standards
- Relevant certifications or training in electrical and instrumentation fields are an advantage
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree preferred
