Duties
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair high voltage and low voltage electrical components, including sensors, relays, and control panels.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately.
- Calibrate instruments and sensors to ensure precision measurement and optimal system performance.
- Program, troubleshoot, and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems (DCS).
- Utilize AutoCAD for system layout modifications and documentation updates.
- Conduct field service activities including installation, commissioning, repairs, and upgrades of equipment.
- Support calibration activities using precision measuring instruments such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Maintain safety standards when working with high voltage systems (up to 600V) and during field service operations.
- Assist in the development of schematics for new installations or modifications.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize system performance using vision inspection systems and CNC machinery.
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or electrical work within manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems, sensors, calibration techniques, and precision measuring instruments.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLC), SCADA systems like Calypso, distributed control systems (DCS), CNC machinery, and vision inspection systems.
- Electrical experience including high voltage (up to 600V) and low voltage applications.
- Familiarity with schematics, AutoCAD drawings, AutoCAD software skills preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical/electronic issues using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Experience working with industrial electrician standards; military background is a plus for discipline-focused candidates.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Knowledge of field service operations involving calibration, sensor integration, and system upgrades.
- Additional desirable skills include experience with Calypso software, CNC programming, electronics repair, high voltage safety protocols, or experience in manufacturing environments.
