MMI Engineered Solutions is seeking a Flex & Warehouse Supervisor to join our Operations team. In this role, you will oversee the Assembly, Shipping, and Warehouse functions while also providing flexible supervisory coverage for production shifts as needed. You'll ensure materials flow efficiently, production and shipping schedules are met, and quality standards are maintained across all areas. Your leadership will directly impact operational performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Leadership:
- Supervise and develop warehouse personnel to maintain a motivated, efficient, and skilled workforce.
- Oversee freight scheduling to ensure on-time delivery and fulfillment of customer commitments.
- Assist in managing warehouse inventory, including raw materials, finished goods, and WIP.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability for production and sales.
- Ensure warehouse maintenance, organization, and security.
- Lead and support daily activities within the Assembly and Shipping departments.
- Maintain 5S and workplace organization across warehouse areas.
- Achieve shipping schedule attainment.
- Provide supervisory coverage for any production shift when needed, including short-notice or extended coverage.
- Oversee mold changes and coordinate with Process Techs, Mold Setters, and Material Handlers.
- Adjust labor allocation based on production demands.
- Support, guide, and direct Mold Setters, Press Operators, and other production personnel.
- Set up production work cells, including reviewing work orders and preparing quality documentation.
- Verify first-piece inspection and ensure all parts meet dimensional and quality standards.
- Ensure operators follow documented processes, safety procedures, and quality system requirements.
- Provide daily production reporting and communicate issues impacting quality, cost, or output.
- Identify and correct nonconforming conditions, setup issues, or equipment concerns.
- Oversee injection molding equipment and auxiliary systems (robot pickers, water heaters, conveyors, chillers, dryers, etc.).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment.
- Promote and lead safe work practices and continuous improvement activities.
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience in injection molding, warehousing, or a manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills.
- Solid understanding of warehouse logistics and injection molding processes.
- Ability to explain mechanical concepts such as pressure, force, heat transfer, and fluid flow.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); IQMS experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in coaching, motivating, and developing employees.
- Experience providing performance feedback, supporting training needs, and addressing disciplinary actions.
- Hands-on work in manufacturing, warehouse, and production environments.
- Extended periods of standing, walking, and working around heat, noise, and moving equipment.
- Must be flexible and comfortable supervising multiple departments with shifting priorities.
