Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the tool room team - overseeing all in-house tooling, fabrication, assembly, and tuning.
- Manage new tool builds and ensure production readiness.
- Oversee preventive maintenance and repair of tools.
- Maintain tool inventory, schedules, and performance records.
- Coordinate with production and engineering to resolve tooling issues.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate tooling contracts.
- Drive continuous improvement in tooling efficiency and quality.
- 5 years of supervisory experience in a Tool Room as a Tool and Die Maker.
- Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of injection molding tooling preferred.
- Manufacturing environment that may be hot, noisy, and dirty - Standing for up to 12 hours per day.
- Hands-on leadership position with authority to prioritize workflow.
- Ensure tooling supports customer quality standards.
