Key Responsibilities
- Start CNC machines and observe operations to verify specifications are met.
- Handle and position stock/work pieces using vices, jaws, and hand tools.
- Perform in-process inspections with gauges, micrometers, and dial indicators.
- Perform insert and cutting tool changes to support CNC operation.
- Ensure all tooling produced meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Stop machining immediately if quality or safety concerns arise.
- Minimum 1 year of CNC machine or programmable metal-cutting equipment experience.
- Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM software and computer operations.
- Familiarity with measuring tools (tape measure, ruler, meter gauges).
- Ability to read and follow shop drawings and written instructions.
- General understanding of signage, graphics materials, substrates, and manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on work in a manufacturing and tooling environment.
- Standing for extended periods in areas that may be hot, noisy, and dusty.
