Paving - Asphalt

Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Paving - Asphalt Crew, all positions, to join our construction team. PREVAILING WAGE JOBS at least 50% of projects . In this role, you will be responsible for laying asphalt surfaces efficiently and safely, contributing to the creation of durable roads, parking lots, and other paved areas. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation, paving techniques, and construction site procedures. Duties

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and dump trucks to prepare and transport materials on-site.
• Use paving machinery to lay asphalt according to project specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain construction site safety by following protocols and ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Support other construction activities like rebar installation, excavation, and site cleanup as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, or paving machines on construction sites And/or Laborer experience .
• Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
• Valid commercial driver’s license with experience driving commercial vehicles like dump trucks is preferred.
