What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Manager, Enterprise Integration position at MMD Services?
We are partnering with a large, employee-owned distribution company headquartered in the Chicago suburbs. The organization operates at enterprise scale with a complex supply chain and distribution infrastructure spanning locations across the country.
This team is in the middle of a technology transformation that puts integration at the center of the work.
The Opportunity:
This is a brand new role. You will build the Integration function from the ground up, establish a Center of Excellence, and set the strategy for how integration works at enterprise scale. This is not a role for someone looking to maintain. It is a role for someone who wants to build something and leave a mark.
You will split your time roughly 50/50 between hands-on technical work and leading people and partners. The right person is a builder who still loves the work.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the integration function and own its long-term strategy
- Build and manage an Integration Center of Excellence from scratch
- Standardize integration governance and processes across internal teams and third-party partners
- Collaborate closely with an established EDI team
- Stay hands-on with technical work alongside directing and developing your team
- Support go-live events on-call as needed. No weekend work.
- Manage and grow a small team of direct reports over time, starting with oversight of integration partners
Consulting backgrounds are welcome provided you have real team-building and leadership experience to back it up.
Why This Role Stands Out
- Greenfield build. You are creating something that does not exist yet.
- Full strategic ownership of the Integration Center of Excellence
- High-visibility work at the center of a major technology transformation
- Employee-owned company. Your success is tied directly to the company's success.
- Stable, established organization with long-tenured employees and a people-first culture
Salary : $140,000 - $180,000
