Information Technology Program Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join their Commercial Services organization. In this role, you'll take ownership of large, complex programs that span multiple IT and business departments — guiding initiatives from initiation through planning, execution, and successful close-out. You'll bring structure to ambiguity, align cross-functional teams around shared goals, and keep budgets, timelines, and stakeholders on track.

This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 to 3 days onsite in Downtown Chicago, IL.

What You'll Do

• Build and own the roadmap for multiple related work efforts, rolling them up into a cohesive program-level plan that manages cross-functional teams, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables.
• Partner with senior leadership and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Get ahead of risk; proactively identifying issues across functions and interdependent workstreams before they become blockers.
• Lead engaging, effective meetings with large audiences and across broad or complex topics.
• Serve as a confident, credible liaison to stakeholders at every level of the organization, managing expectations through strategic dialogue, polished presentations, and clear written communication.
• Monitor project financials closely and recommend budget adjustments as needed.
• Provide oversight across multiple concurrent projects, resolving conflicts, addressing resource constraints, and clearing the critical path to keep programs moving.

Required

• 7 years of direct project management experience, spanning the full lifecycle from initiation through execution and delivery.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
• Familiarity with project management tools; Smartsheet experience preferred.
• Agile delivery / project management experience on IT projects.
• Strong presentation skills and polish in front of varied audiences.
• Proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to Have

• Experience within the hospitality industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field.
• Exposure to AI or machine learning tooling within a data engineering context (e.g., feeding pipelines into ML models, working with AWS AI services like SageMaker, or supporting AI-driven analytics use cases)
