Budtender

Position Overview:

We at MMD Redwood City are currently seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Cannabis Budtenders to join our team in Redwood City. This flexible part-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with opportunities for growth and development. As a part-time Budtender, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product selection, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Part-time position
• Provide outstanding customer service to all patrons, offering product recommendations and answering inquiries
• Ensuring member satisfaction
• Maintain a clean and organized retail environment, ensuring all products are properly stocked and displayed
• Accurately process transactions using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cash transactions with precision
• Stay informed about current cannabis laws, regulations, and product knowledge to ensure compliance and accurate information to customers
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and performing inventory counts as needed
• Complete required training and certifications, including passing a background check and live scan
• Cross sell products
• 4 - 8 hour shifts

Qualifications:

• 2 year retail or customer service experience
• Open availability, including evenings and weekends
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to pass a background check and live scan
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Ability to operate or to quickly learn the stores point-of-sale system
• Knowledge of cannabis products and industry trends is a plus, but not required (training will be provided)
• Money handling experience
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Benefits:

• Starting rate $18.65/hr Tips
• Pay: $18.65 per hour

Shifts:

• 4 hour shift
• 6 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Night shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Fridays

• Weekends as needed

• Holidays as needed
