Shift Lead at MMD Long Beach

Position Title: Shift LeadPosition Overview: Responsible for assisting the store management team with storeoperations, interacting with customers to problem solve issues, assisting in sales process,ensuring an outstanding customer experience and daily task execution.Primary Responsibilities:Execute floor leadership-own the sale floor, greet all customers, in a professional, friendlymanner.Deploy staff, coordinate breaks, count down cash drawersCoach and develop employees in assessing customer needs.Stocking shelves, setting up displays, ringing up merchandise.Assist with inventory counts as needed.Maintain merchandise and visual plan according to company policies.Provide constructive feedback and assists staff to solve customers’ complaints.Ensure all employees are properly trained according to company policies and procedures.Communicate to management any situations that puts our customers or employees at riskphysically or emotionally.General Responsibilities:Greet all customers, in a professional, friendly manner.Ensure the store is well maintained, stocked, and clean at all times.Treat co-workers with respect and look for opportunities to help others without beingasked.Show up to work on time in appropriate attire and compliant with appearance policies.Possess adequate product knowledge to assist customers in making purchasing decisions.Ensure that Health, Safety, Operations, and security policies are being followed at all timesMotivate employees, keeping them focused on the company’s mission.Ensure customers are satisfied with the level of service and product quality received.Follow all opening and closing procedures to keep the employees, inventory, cash, andstore safe and secure.Physical Requirements:Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)Must be able to move and/or lift up to 20 poundJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hourExpected hours: 35 – 42 per weekBenefits:Employee discountPaid trainingShift:8 hour shiftEvening shiftMorning shiftLicense/Certification:Driver's License/ ID (Required)Shift availability:Day Shift (Required)Night Shift (Required)Ability to Commute:Long Beach, CA 90806 (Required)By applying to this job, you agree to receive periodic text messages from this employer and Homebase about your pending job application.
