Part-Time Retail Sales Associate / Key Holder
Matthews Medical and Scientific Books is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Retail Sales Associate / Key Holder to join our team. If you enjoy helping customers, working independently, and keeping a retail store organized, we'd love to hear from you.
Location: Matthews MCW Medical Bookstore at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI
Wage: $14.00 / hour
Schedule:
- 10:15 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. four days a week
- Part-time, 24 hours per week
- Store hours are 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
- No evenings, weekends, or major holidays
What You'll Do
- Provide outstanding customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
- Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately.
- Open and/or close the bookstore as a key holder.
- Receive, stock, organize, and merchandise inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and other daily store operations.
What We're Looking For
- Friendly, professional, and customer-service oriented.
- Highly dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 50 pounds.
- Previous retail or cash handling experience is preferred.
