MMC Group is hiring for Sr. Tax Accountants for our client in the North Dallas area!
The client is a growing accounting and wealth management firm seeking experienced tax professionals to join their team - they work with high-net-worth & high-income individuals, trusts, businesses, and various corporate structures, but these new openings will support a team focused on businesses within the Healthcare & Restaurant industries.
This role involves preparing and reviewing a wide range of tax returns while providing guidance and support to clients and staff. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy collaborating with a team, and have a keen eye for detail.
- Prepare and organize tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and small business entities.
- Conduct research and provide insights on complex tax matters to support client needs.
- Maintain accuracy and quality throughout the tax preparation process.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, including coaching and mentoring junior staff.
- Ensure deadlines are met while delivering high-quality work.
- Assist in tax planning and provide recommendations to optimize client outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification preferred but not required.
- At least 3 years of experience in tax preparation within a public accounting setting.
- Familiarity with individual, partnership, and small business tax filings.
- Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks, preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-moving environment.
Pay: $90-120k
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
