JOB DUTIES
Maintain records which are related to the practice of pharmacy and the 340B program including but not limited to internal and external audit documentation, corrective action plans, TPA and CP contracts, 340B ESP uploads, manufacturer eligibility, and vendor statements of work.
Educate pharmacy staff and others about the 340B program requirements as it relates to their individual workflow.
Perform “mapping” functions and other maintenance in the 340B split billing software program under the direction of the 340B Coordinator.
Maintain and update the HRSA/OPA database.
Verify pricing to ensure 340B price accuracy and report to the 340B committee any errors that are found.
Evaluate price discrepancies from the wholesaler and if necessary report price discrepancies to Apexus or HRSA.
Assist the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacy Supervisor to review and negotiate purchasing contracts as it relates to 340B.
Assist the 340B Auditors and the Compliance Officer in conducting monthly internal audits of both in-house and contract pharmacy 340B transactions.
Serves as project manager regarding implementation of new contract pharmacies, new wholesalers, and new referral or compliance vendors.
Monitors the connectivity of data interfaces and accuracy of eligibility rules.
Works with physician practice managers, physicians, and administration to achieve maximum viability of the 340B referral program.
Performs other duties as assigned.
