Job Title: Housekeeping Team Lead
Position Summary:
The Housekeeping Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping team to ensure all cleaning, sanitation, and customer service standards are consistently met. This role provides leadership, training, and support to housekeeping staff while maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for clients. The Team Lead will be required to meet daily with the team at the Hutto location before traveling together to scheduled job sites and will also be responsible for replenishing and distributing cleaning materials and supplies for the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff.
- Meet daily with the team at the Hutto office at 7:30 AM to review schedules, job assignments, and expectations.
- Travel with the team to scheduled job sites to oversee and assist in cleaning services.
- Assign tasks and inspect completed work to ensure standards of cleanliness and order are maintained.
- Train new housekeeping team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, materials, and equipment.
- Replenish and distribute cleaning materials and supplies to team members as needed at each job site.
- Address and resolve client concerns or service issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct routine inspections of job sites to uphold quality and presentation standards.
- Ensure team adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Support hands-on cleaning duties during high-volume periods or staff shortages.
- Communicate effectively with management and other departments to coordinate housekeeping activities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of housekeeping experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety standards.
- Must be physically able to perform housekeeping tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM until work is completed for the day (end time varies based on job schedule and team performance).
- Must be dependable and punctual for daily team meet-ups in Hutto.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

- May involve exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment noise.
- Requires prolonged standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
