Are you a natural leader who loves keeping a busy dental office running like a well-oiled machine? Green Leaf Dental is looking for a Front Office Manager to lead our front desk team, keep our schedules full, and help create an outstanding experience for every patient who walks through our door.
About the Role
As our Front Office Manager, you'll own the schedule, lead the front desk team, and set the tone for the patient experience from the first phone call to the final goodbye. You'll partner closely with our Clinical Operations Manager to keep the front office and clinical side of the practice in sync — this role leads the front desk team only; clinical staff report to the Clinical Operations Manager. It's a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves solving problems, motivating people, and making sure every day runs smoothly from open to close.
What You'll Do
- Keep hygiene, pediatric, and doctor schedules full and optimized, using proactive scheduling strategies to minimize gaps and last-minute cancellations
- Oversee day-to-day front desk operations, including check-in/check-out, insurance verification, billing and payments, and patient communication
- Set the standard for a warm, welcoming, high-level patient experience
- Lead, coach, and support the front office team, building a culture that's positive, accountable, and fun to be part of
- Troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and daily hiccups with a calm, solutions-first mindset
- Monitor front office metrics (schedule fill rate, cancellations, collections) and look for ways to improve efficiency
- Partner with the Clinical Operations Manager and doctors to keep communication clear and the practice aligned
- Help onboard and train new front office team members
- Champion the practice's culture, values, and vision every day
What We're Looking For
- 2 years leading a front desk or scheduling team in a dental or medical practice (dental strongly preferred)
- A track record of keeping schedules organized, full, and running efficiently
- Experience handling patient billing, insurance verification, and collections
- Strong people skills — you know how to lead a team, resolve conflict, and bring out the best in others
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfort with Open Dental (training provided if needed)
- A positive, can-do attitude and a drive to keep improving

Schedule
- Monday - Friday 7am-4pm
