At MLT, we create solutions by empowering our people to fulfill their passion for service. In support of our Corporate office, we are seeking a Human Resources Generalist with experience in supporting Federal Contracts.
The specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Partner with hiring managers to create job descriptions and post openings.
- Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and coordinate candidate communications.
- Conduct new hire on boarding and orientation.
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
- Address employee concerns.
- Administer benefits enrollment, and employee leave programs.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Maintain and update HR policies and employee handbook.
- Assist with audits and recordkeeping requirements.
- Maintain employee records in HRIS.
- Generate HR reports and analytics for leadership.
- Support HR projects, initiatives, and employee engagement programs.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–5 years of HR experience in generalist role.
- Knowledge of labor laws, benefits administration, and HRIS systems (ADP).
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
Specific/Preferred Requirements:
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
- Experience with ADP.
- Experience in a fast-paced, multi-state environment.
