SUMMARY
The Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the organization’s products and services meet predefined standards, regulatory requirements and customer expectations. As such, the Quality Assurance Coordinator will monitor MLS system integrity; help perform audits, issue correction notices to members, issue warnings and fines using the MLS Data Checker.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Responsible for the processing of information and/or changes to listings as entered in the computer system.
- Check data entered in the system.
- Run automated reports to check data integrity.
- Email messages to participant office(s) on entry errors in the computer system.
- Ensure follow up notification to participant office(s) in receipt of email messages sent and received.
- Coordinate in-house tracking system(s) for quick and easy access to information on email messages sent and received.
- Responsible for coordinating the entering of all listings and/or changes received from participant offices without on-line computer service.
- Process listings and/or changes to be entered into the system.
- Monitor time frame listings are entered by staff personnel or yourself.
- Work with in-house tracking system(s) for quick and easy access to staff entered information.
- Responsible for authorizing, overseeing, directing and coordinating the processing of issuing penalties to participant office(s).
- Authorize penalties to be assessed to a participant for failure to comply with MLS NOW Rules and Regulations.
- Report penalties to MLS NOW Leadership when necessary.
- Assist with fielding telephone inquiries from participants with questions regarding the penalty and/or wishing to submit complaints regarding penalties.
- Such other duties as from time to time assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum of high school graduate.
Real Estate experience, especially as a broker preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
