Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Dispatch Specialist to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for tracking and tracing shipments, providing real-time customer updates, and ensuring seamless communication with account managers during overnight operations as emergencies arise. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and the capacity to manage stress in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely deliveries.
- Provide regular updates to customers on shipment statuses and resolve any issues that arise during transit.
- Maintain constant communication with drivers and provide support during overnight shifts.
- Collaborate closely with account managers to relay key information and assist with any customer needs.
- Update internal systems with shipment details and progress reports.
- Handle time-sensitive tasks with efficiency and accuracy, ensuring smooth operations during night shifts.
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise, coordinating with drivers, customers, and management to find solutions.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Capable of managing high-pressure situations and remaining calm under stress.
- Proficiency in computer systems and logistics tracking software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, or transportation is a plus but not required.
Work Schedule:
- Night shift, 8PM-5AM
