MLA Wholesale Inc. is a growing wholesale floral distributor supplying premium flowers to florists, event designers, and businesses across the Chicagoland area. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Delivery Driver to join our team and ensure our customers receive beautiful, fresh flowers on time every day.
This role is an important part of our operations and requires someone who takes pride in reliability, organization, and customer service.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Schedule: Early morning start
- Location: Based out of our warehouse in Wood Dale, IL
- Compensation: Competitive hourly pay based on experience
Responsibilities
- Deliver fresh flower orders to florists and businesses throughout the Chicagoland area
- Load delivery vehicles with prepared orders in an organized and secure manner
- Follow daily delivery routes efficiently and safely
- Provide professional and friendly service to customers at delivery locations
- Confirm deliveries and obtain signatures when required
- Communicate with the office if any delivery issues arise
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
- Return any customer returns or product issues to the warehouse manager for review
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and handle flower boxes throughout the day
- Strong punctuality and reliability (deliveries must run on schedule)
- Good communication skills and professional demeanor with customers
- Ability to work efficiently and stay organized while managing a route
- Experience driving delivery routes is preferred but not required
