Job purpose
Ability to make routine choices within established policies and procedures and work relatively independently in a fast-paced shared services environment. Possess intermediate computer skills with various ERP’s and Microsoft Office products (including but not limited to Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams), and intermediate Accounts Payable knowledge.

Duties and responsibilities
Daily / Weekly:
- AP entries (entails imaging invoices, entering invoice data, manual coding) - all vendor invoices for one or more companies within the ML Distribution Group
- Ensure that all invoices are coded correctly and approved
- Assist with weekly payment runs (ACH, paper checks)
- Assist requesters with New supplier and Wire Request forms
- Create and maintain monthly use tax spreadsheets for your area of responsibility
- Participate in maintaining the integrity of AP subledger content
- Serve as Assistant Program Admin on Wells Fargo p-card and expense reporting program
- Other job duties and projects as assigned
Monthly:
- Reconcile Vendor Statements
- Record wires and auto-debits used to pay expenses
Qualifications
- Intermediate level computer skills (MS Office products, Various AP accounting software)
- General understanding of accounting principals
- 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable with general knowledge of AP best practices
- Undergraduate level degree preferred
- Experience with Extend a plus
- Experience in a Purchase Order based business a plus
Working conditions
- Standing, walking, talking, sitting, and use of hands.
- This job mostly involves sitting or standing, but there may be occasional tasks that involve lifting or moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this Colorado position is between $28.00 and $35.00 an hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
