We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing / Inventory Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory records, processing purchase orders and ensuring stock levels are accurate and well managed.
Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records
- Prepare and process purchase orders
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments
- Process all invoices and credits for vendors
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors regarding orders and deliveries
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Responsible for all import/export shipping through UPS, Federal Express, DHL and container shipments
- Assist with reporting and inventory documentation
- Support warehouse operations as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in purchasing or inventory work preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong computer skills, especially with excel spreadsheets and knowledge of inventory systems
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
