The Senior UX Researcher will be responsible for designing and implementing a UX strategy that discovers the Business case and end user needs for all functions and features during prototype development. You will also conduct usability testing on functional wireframes and UI prototypes during development. These responsibilities also include delivering verbal and written presentations, evaluating qualitative and quantitative data, and helping the development team better understand what would make a user’s experience more intuitive, accessible, and seamless.

Responsibilities
- Conduct and evaluate quantitative and qualitative research.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate user research strategies and methodologies.
- Perform usability studies with consumers.
- Develop UI wireframes, journey maps, experience flow diagrams, and presentations to communicate your design approach and gain alignment across stakeholders.
- Work with the development team to build UI prototypes.
- Document design decisions with high fidelity mockups and detailed descriptions. Experience with Adobe XD, Balsamiq.
- Perform usability testing to validate design directions and inform opportunities for improvement.
- Be able to quickly troubleshoot website issues using Browser developer tools and HTML, CSS, JS to identify issues and propose a fix
Requirements
- 4 years of experience in applied product research or UX research.
- Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills essential.
- Requires significant independent judgment.
- Must work effectively within teams and with clients to meet objectives under time constraints.
- Ability to travel between 10%-20% to client site.
- Bachelor’s Degree in User Experience, Design, human-computer interaction, or a related field
- Background in Visual Design or UI Design strongly preferred.
- In Lieu of meeting the education requirements, candidates with at least 10 years of experience in applied product research or UX research will be considered.
Desired Skills:
- Proven experience with one or more front-end frameworks such as React and Redux.
- Experience with Java / C#
Security Requirements
Must be able to pass a Public Trust Background Check. Must be a US Citizen.
Active SECRET security clearance desired. Or ability to obtain active clearance in the near future.
